Our thoughts are with the CDOT family, who on Wednesday, September 4th, tragically lost two lives in an on-the-job accident in Region 3. Elizabeth Stolfus recently attended ACEC Colorado’s third annual fly-in visit to Washington D.C., where ACEC Colorado members served as “consulting engineer representatives” at the townhouse event. Approximately 30 Democrats from the U.S. House gathered to support Congresswoman Sharice Davids' campaign to lead the New Democrats Coalition, the largest caucus in the House. Congresswoman Davids is a key member of the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, working to shape the future of U.S. infrastructure. We are proud to be part of these important conversations about the role of engineering and transportation in building a better future.

"As a design engineer for the McKay Rd and 104th Ave intersection, I’ve been focused on enhancing pedestrian safety by re-evaluating the intersection layout and adding channelizing right turn median islands to shorten pedestrian crossing widths.
