In an inclusive workplace it is vital for employees to feel safe to share their challenges, especially relating to personal circumstances. How to go about it? 1. Create a safe space: Make sure you as a leader communicate that all voices will be heard and that you will listen respectfully. Also make sure to check in during one on one meetings. Anonymous surveys and questionnaires can sometimes be needed for employees to share. 2. Collaborative solution exploration: When you work with the employee to find practical solutions not only will ensure the specific needs are met, but also empower the employee and give them ownership of their own workplace experience. 3. Take action: Should be obvious, but make a plan and implement the ideas. You will improve the workplace for at least one employee, and you will show the rest of your workforce that you listens and care about them. What do you do to ensure your workplace is inclusive? #inclusion

Here are my top tips: - Show up and be your authentic self. - Listen and care - if people share with you thats a priviledge we should hold dear. - Be open to all feedback and most importantly let your colleagues know you need and want to know. - Deliver on your promises and when you fall short step up and acknowledge it - we are all human and we all make mistakes. - If you see something that doesnt feel right, step in to those conversations, dont wait for someone else. #ImpactMatters #InclusiveSport
