Many of large industrial, battery plants, chemical facilities, food processing facilities, etc. are chosing New Gen Glass Fiber Rebars, due to being noncorrosive (pH2-pH13), Green and sustainable aspects of it. In addition since it is nonconductive, it does not interfere with the wireless devices, robots, etc. The wireless signals will not be blocked by the GFRP rebars (Steel rebars due to being conductive, will ground the signals or deflect them) and that assures a smooth communication path with all the automatiation equipment in the new facilities!

Yesterday we published our Q2 2024 business results (https://lnkd.in/gaMRHQ6D). The highlights include: - Our landmark agreement with PowerCo is an opportunity to quickly and efficiently get our battery technology into series production EVs. We now forecast this capital-light licensing arrangement extends our cash runway into 2028, an 18 month extension from previous guidance.? - Production: We’re on track to complete the ramp up of Raptor separator production, one of our key goals for the year. Raptor continues to show encouraging benefits for separator quality and has demonstrated the capability to produce the best-performing separators we’ve ever made. - Safety: Our prototype ~5 amp-hour cells based on our Alpha-2 design have demonstrated a promising safety profile; including thermal stability >300°C vs conventional li-ion cells we tested at ~185°C https://lnkd.in/gcuFmjdY

The focus is on developing solid-state batteries powered by Li-metal anodes, so they don't have current collector material for these batteries. ? In this interview, the CEO mentioned that they have already achieved a 90% recovery rate in the recycling process, So their technology can be compliant with the 2013-EU battery regulation. ? ?? Breakthrough in Solid-State Battery Tech: CATL Accelerates Validation Process ?? CATL, the Chinese battery giant, has reportedly started sample validation of its 20 Ah solid-state cells, aiming for small series production by 2027. ???? This marks a significant step towards the commercialization of solid-state batteries, which promise higher energy density and improved safety over traditional lithium-ion batteries. According to Chinese media, CATL has increased its R&D investments in solid-state batteries and expanded its team to over 1,000 people. ???? The company's current solution can achieve an energy density of 500 Wh/kg, a more than 40% improvement over existing batteries. However, challenges remain in terms of charging speed and cycle stability. ??? CATL is not alone in this race. Several major Chinese battery and car manufacturers have joined forces to drive forward the commercialization of solid-state batteries through the China All-Solid-State Battery Collaborative Innovation Platform (CASIP). ?????? This alliance aims to develop and produce competitive solid-state batteries and establish a supply chain by 2030. With players like Toyota and Nissan planning to launch electric cars with solid-state batteries in the next few years, China does not want to be overtaken in this technology race. ????
