Energy is an eternal topic for humanity. Until we find more reliable and safer nuclear energy, clean energy will undoubtedly be superior to fossil fuels. This is the reason why I dedicated myself to the solar energy industry. Clean energy is not just a choice; it is aresponsibility. Once, my son proudly told me, "Mom, you are doing something as great as Mr. Beast, making our planet a better place." His encouragement has strengthened my resolve to continue in the field of renewable energy. Seeing the smiling faces of our local workers at the factory and hearing them share stories about how this job allows their children to go to school, enablesthem to buy nice clothes, or addnew appliances to their homes fills me with joy. This is not just ajob; it is a source of hope and a better future. Our solar panel factory will soon open in Texas, and this is not only the fulfillment of my dream but also the result of our team's collective effort. I believe that through our hard work, we will bring clean energy to more people and create a better future for our planet. #manurfacturing #renewableenergy #solarenergy
Imperial Star is thrilled to be featured by the Houston Business Journal about the opening of our brand new 1.5 GW domestic manufacturing facility. The Houston-Tomball area has welcomed us with open arms, with Tomball Economic Development Committee Executive Director Kelly Violette quoting: "We're very excited to have this company coming in to set up their headquarters here and for them to do the work they're doing in clean energy. It's a good fit for Tomball." With a five-year economic impact prediction of $22.5 million attributed to payroll alone, it is not hard to see why! We're thrilled to officially be a part of the growing #cleanenergy movement in Texas! https://zurl.co/xga5 (Based in Houston? DM us personally for information about our grand opening next month) #ImperialStarSolar #HoustonBusinessJournal #SolarManufacturing

Good enough is never good enough. Going that extra mile, double-checking, and being critical of our own output brings us closer to the level we consider professional. Here is a short but cleanly to-the-point quote from Sandy Climan.

When we doubt our ability to overcome the situation we are in, we must know that this is our test in the multiplicity of options and solution paths available to us. Therefore, we must first remove our mind from the inferior goals, then the decision will become easier than our initial expectations. ??

Thank you Mindy Long and ILMA (Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association) for featuring our Executive Director Elaine Nessle, as well as many great industry leaders, in your February newsletter article covering supply chain infrastructure investments!
One of the reasons I love writing about transportation is because I find it amazing things get where they're going in such a short amount of time and at so little expense to us as consumers. Transportation infrastructure is a huge part of that, and while a lot of new investment is underway, there is still a lot of work to do. My latest piece for ILMA (Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association) looks at new funding and important needs. Thank you Cary S. Davis, Elaine Nessle, Darrin Roth, Joel Simpson and Sean Hillard for sharing your expertise!

I have to thank CIMarE Atlantic (Halifax) Branch for allowing me to present last week during their monthly meeting at the beautiful Brightwood Golf and Country Club with 11 marine professionals in house and many more joining online. The topic of discussion was "The Past, Present and Future of the Marine Internal Combustion Engine" which included a brief explanation of the differences between the IMO I, IMO II, IMO III, and EPA IV emission standards currently used in Canada and airborne emissions that are being regulated in each standard and the long-term effects these airborne emissions have on humans. This precursor lead into the primary discussion of which Marine Internal Combustion Engine technologies ware utilized to meet previous IMO I, IMO II emission standards. Then discussed what changes have been made to the Marine Internal Combustion Engine to meet the current IMO III and EPA IV emissions standards and how have these changes have affected the New Build, Repower and Long-Term Operational planning in the marine industry. Lastly we delved into the future of the marine industry and what it may look like beyond 2035, including an attempt to decipher the future of combustion fuel(s) and electrification of the Marine Industry. CIMarE in partnership with SNAME and Master Mariners have branches across Canada that regularly offer Technical Paper Presentations and host the Mari-Tech Conference with the goal of facilitating the interchange of ideas through the publication and circulation of pertinent technical information.
