This week, Steinberg Hart Partner and TTU alum Douglas Moss represented our firm at the Texas Tech University Next Step Prep, delivering an insightful presentation on best practices for job searching, excelling in interviews, and making lasting first impressions. This career fair and lecture series is an initiative of TTU's alumni association the Design Leadership Alliance (DLA), of which David Hart is a Past President. The DLA which is committed to supporting the Huckabee College of Architecture, uplifting students and supporting their entry into the AEC industry. We’re proud to help students build confidence and prepare for the exciting road ahead.

?? ?? Proud to support opportunities for young people to engage with STEM activity ?? ?? Using our Soldamatic - Official augmented reality welding kit all age groups can get an appreciation for the skills required to weld. Many children come to the station not knowing what welding is and within 10mins they not only talk about what welding is used for and share ideas about where in their lives they see or use products with welded elements but get to try it in a safe environment. A great initiative from Jennifer Hunter (Sanderson), Annemarie Smith Angus Council to inspire the next generation of engineers.

The CPA, in collaboration with the Canadian Society for Brain, Behaviour and Cognitive Science (CSBBCS), will be hosting our 5th annual Virtual Career Fair December 11. By participating in this event, you will learn about various career paths and positions for psychology graduates outside of the health services and academic settings directly from individuals in those positions. You also will have the opportunity to connect with these individuals via virtual break out rooms where you can ask them about their experience, advice, or anything relevant to your job search! The LLT team recently engaged in the WEOC’s Fall Job Fair, a valuable event organized by the University Center for Academic and Workforce Development (UCAWD) at the State University of New York (SUNY). This initiative offers a range of free academic and vocational training programs to individuals. At the fair, we interacted with a diverse group of bilingual students possessing varied training, work experience, and CDL B driver's licenses. Our team actively promoted both part-time and full-time opportunities, aiming to support students in their career pursuits. Many attendees expressed interest in discussing their chosen fields with us, seeking insights and guidance. We welcomed their inquiries, providing our expertise and assistance to aid in their career development journey. It was a fruitful experience connecting with motivated individuals at the event.?
