Our union was founded on principles outlined in our Constitution – which every member receives upon joining. These principles include: ?? Our aim to unite all working people into the union ?? What we fight for, including better wages and shorter hours ?? Our commitment to education, legislative action, social welfare and democracy We also host a convention every three years as stipulated in Article VI of the Constitution. There, delegates nominated by their Districts come together to vote on amendments and policy resolutions – democracy in action! Need a copy of the constitution?
