This week we're highlighting our groundbreaking work to tackle malaria using the power of biometrics alongside our partner Ghana Health Service, with support from Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, Steele Foundation for Hope and Arm. Malaria remains one of the leading causes of death of under 5s in Ghana, and the main cause of outpatient visits. However, the latest malaria vaccine can reduce severe malaria cases that are admitted to hospital by 30%. Alongside Ghana Health Service, we aim to verify vaccine delivery ensuring that the four-dose vaccine is administered effectively, potentially saving thousands of lives and hundreds of millions of dollars of health care expenditure. #Malaria #Biometrics #TechForGood #HealthInnovation
