Understanding that #education has always been one of the many tools used to break cycles of #injustice by those who came before us, we help #educators translate their desire to incorporate #environmental (and social) #justice-oriented concepts into actionable teaching plans to radically transform their #classrooms and #curricula. In addition, we hope to turn classrooms into spaces where students can learn about systems of oppression and take meaningful action towards #liberation outside the classroom as well. Reaching over 200 students across 4 separate programs in our first year, we have actively bridged the gap between education and action through the funding of 2 hyperlocal #community #organizing projects and the provision of 2 fully integratabtle and free modularized curriculums.
