Building bridges between Technical University of Munich and Stanford University to scale access to care ?? Together with TUM Venture Labs, we hosted a workshop where students, innovators, and clinicians brought clinical needs from TUM Universit?tsklinikum Klinikum rechts der Isar and went through the highlights of the identification and invention steps of the Stanford Biodesign process, reviewed the Stanford Spezi framework, and formed plans to co-create new digital health solutions ?? We were captivated by the innovative work that clinicians and researchers are doing with remote patient monitoring, virtual and augmented reality, implanted smart devices, and AI applied to genetic, audio, and image analyses. There are numerous new opportunities to bring our groups together! ?? A huge thank you to Felicitas Eidenschink, the entire TUM Venture Labs team, Med-Dev, and Heinz Nixdort Stiftung for hosting us, UnternehmerTUM for forming this bridge between Stanford Mussallem Center for Biodesign and Technical University of Munich, and to everyone involved in making this visit successful.
