Getting Our Ducks in a Row at the advocacy sector Elimination of Restrictive Practices Workshop ?? Here’s a behind-the-scenes moment of Sue Tape at last week’s Elimination of Restrictive Practices workshop hosted by People with Disability Australia (PWDA). This session brought together organisations to share advocacy initiatives and collaborate on priorities for eliminating restrictive practices. Just like these ducks, we’re lining everything up to ensure that we’re ready for the NDRP’s first Evidence to Action event on 5 December, “Exploring the Evidence to Enable the Elimination of Restrictive Practices in Australia.” Listening to advocates, aligning shared objectives, and planning together to identify research gaps are essential steps in the work of the NDRP.
