This one is personal. The ability to build a solid team at an early stage is critical to the success of a startup. Why is this personal for me? Because as Diversity-X as a community has grown, and my ability on my own, and with Marquis Caines to deliver what we want for the community would not be possible without having built the team we now have. Properly starting just a year ago, with Kris Jones (He/Him) dedicated support, we've brought in Ammar Boukhemkhem, Carrie (Karen) Lomas, Christabel Charles, Rebecca ?? Leppard, and Sandeep Krishnappa to support what we are trying to build. We still have a final slot on our team to fill - a volunteer Chief of Staff. So what i've learnt from the last 2.5 years of supporting founders, and also building up my own team's capabilities, I'm sharing in this week's #AskUncleKevin.
