Consider these initial suggestions as a starting point, yet the potential is boundless when you join forces with the MGB Team and your selected interior designer. 1. Begin your color story with your home's architecture. Your permanent landscape features — patios, planters, retaining walls, fences and other structures — should coordinate with your home's facade. Select your signature color to match or echo the paint, stain or natural finish of your home's exterior. 2. Expand from your home's interior color palette. The home should have a color connection that flows seamlessly from one space to the next. It needn't be the exact hue; a lighter tint or darker shade would work well, too. 3. Our client up north used our services to help guide her to completion on a really tricky area of her home. We provided a design only service with support to help her reach her goals. We had some unusual requirements as my son is autistic so we needed something that looked good, was durable and catered to his specific needs. Her designs were amazing! She even found furniture for us that solve the issues we are having with what we currently have and her lighting suggestions were great and she sent me flooring, wallpaper and paint samples in the post. I now have detailed plans and samples that I can pass over to my tradespeople that will allow them to carry out the work [here in Carlisle]. She even told me what order I need to get them to work in. I genuinely had no idea what I should do with the hallway and I am SO glad I got in touch with her.
