This morning, I attended the webinar “Generating #Grinding versus #Honing”. It is well known that hard finishing processes improve both #capacity and smooth #function of the #gearing systems. I found interesting the perspective of the surface finishing that is not only matter of #roughness but also it is important the texture and the residual compressive #stresses. Also, the importance to get the best #quality of the pre-machining to get an #optimum hard finishing results.
