This is general; it's hard to explain that being on maternity leave or having more children won't make me a less dedicated employee, even though my family's priorities are first.
Such an important conversation, especially with #WorldMentalHealthDay approaching. Talking about capacity and setting boundaries can be tough but necessary for preventing burnout. Being open with my manager has led to more support. Looking forward to hearing more on this!

2 周As a working parent, I’ve found over the course of my career it’s been difficult having conversations when my kids are ill or have an appointment that causes me to miss work. It always feels like it happens at the worst time when big projects are due. Very grateful to have always had leaders who not only respected but supported me putting my family first. ??
