Is AI a threat to jobs, or a gateway to new opportunities? Ever heard people worry that AI will take away jobs? Let's rethink that notion! It's like believing that technology makes us obsolete. Sure, technology transforms the way we work, but more often, it creates new opportunities rather than eliminating them. AI in India's job market is a testament to this change. The sector saw a 36% increase in recruitment in 2024, showing that AI is fueling job growth, not leading to job losses. The AI surge is leading to amazing outcomes – from tackling complex problems in creative industries to optimizing processes in data science. It's undoubtedly transforming our workplaces in remarkable ways. It's not about job losses; it's about evolution. And with predictions that AI could create an estimated 2.73 million jobs in India by 2028, especially in sectors like retail, manufacturing, education, and healthcare, it's a future filled with possibilities. But this transformation requires us to work diligently. We need to continuously develop a proper strategy, embrace new tools, and invest time in upskilling. So, what are the options? Fear the rise of AI? Or embrace innovation, upskill, and thrive in this dynamic landscape. Seems like an easy choice to us. #FutureOfWork #AIInnovation #UpskillForSuccess #JobGrowth #EmbraceChange What are your thoughts on the future of AI in the job market? Share your opinion!

This is due to the increasing demand of the IT sector in areas like data, technology, Internet of Things (IoT), AI, and ML. In the age of AI, the true risk isn't losing jobs it's staying stagnant. In 2023, 62% of Indian workers said their job skills would need major updates in the next 5 years. 47% of employees saw AI as a chance to learn new skills. But 30% felt unsure about learning these skills, leading to worry. What does this mean for you? The future is moving fast, and only those who adapt will thrive. Stagnation is the real danger. ?Here’s my advice: ? Learn continuously. AI is a powerful tool to grow your career. ? Find mentors who encourage skill development and guide you through changes. ? Stay around people who inspire you to adapt and improve. Future projections show that AI will reshape jobs more in the coming years, so don't wait. Growth isn’t optional it’s survival. This is especially challenging for companies in India, where the demand for AI talent is high. Deel also found that many companies are open to hiring globally, but this brings its own challenges. One challenge is managing diverse teams across different regions. Another challenge is the increasing demand for payment in US dollars, especially among contractors in India. Despite India's progress in AI, there is still a need to produce a skilled workforce to meet the growing demand for AI talent. AI and its impact on jobs is a hot topic, often bringing up fears reminiscent of the early days of the internet and computers. Recently, Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya addressed this in Parliament, reassuring that AI will not lead to job losses but will instead open up new job opportunities. His comparison to past technological advancements highlights the potential for AI to create roles we haven't yet imagined. Personally, I share this optimism. History has shown that with each technological leap, we adapt and evolve, finding new ways to work and innovate. The steps taken by the Modi government have already led to a significant reduction in the unemployment rate, increasing the labor force participation from 38% in 2017-18 to 44%. This proactive approach sets a strong foundation for integrating AI into our workforce. It's essential to focus on skilling and reskilling our workforce to ensure everyone is prepared for this shift. By embracing AI, we can drive growth and create a dynamic job market that benefits all. What are your thoughts on AI's role in the future of work? Let's discuss! #AI #FutureOfWork #Innovation #JobMarket #India #TechnologicalAdvancement #SkillingIndia #GlobalTree

India's dominance in IT to end soon..? With AI and automation, the competitiveness of cheap wages is fading and is being replaced by technical soundness. Unfortunately, a majority of tech giants in India are stuck in older ways of doing things. Many interviews I had with IT professionals suggest a bias for older technology and a complete ignorance to the developments in the AI space. As per one estimate, there are less than 2000 senior AI developers in the country. What is the way ahead..? Reskilling is critical. AI as a technology generates very few high paying jobs as compared to IT. People should re-specialize considering the demands in the market. Additionally, the expectation from jobs will also change in the coming decade. #IT #AI #LLM #jobs #future https://lnkd.in/dYvN7D-K
