In August 2016, we thought, "Why not make a quick game to ride the wave of global media interest in Donald Trump as he campaigned for the presidency?" Everyone knew Trump was a real estate tycoon. We had already achieved success with our geolocation game, Landlord Tycoon (with over 20 million downloads and $20 million+ in revenue), so we thought, "Why not replicate that success?" In just four weeks, we developed a new game—essentially a copycat version of Landlord Tycoon. We made minor changes, swapped out the main character, adjusted some UI colors, and released it as a new game organically. The result? We ended up with $3 million in the bank—not bad for a quick copy-paste job! We even hit the No. 1 spot in strategy games in the U.S. https://lnkd.in/dp97QeMw

We've got a growing network, so let us reintroduce ourselves if you're wondering who we are. The Mean Green Infantry is an alumni-coordinated effort to increase fan engagement by making events of UNT games - usually away from Denton, and at a group-discounted rate. You know how schools like Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and other big-time programs always have a lot of fans in the stands, even when they're not playing at home? That's what we're trying to do. UNT Athletics are on the rise, and we have the numbers to show up no matter where. 47K current students (third largest in Texas), nearly half a million living alumni, and 300K in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex alone. So join us! Facebook: https://lnkd.in/gZNWqwyx Twitter: https://lnkd.in/gKCNWPnc Instagram: https://lnkd.in/grmz2Dr9

That is a role model
MBA | Social Media Manager & Content creator | Website creation | Domain Hosting | Brand Developer | Media
LeBron James with no father, no college education, no training, and very few role models except his single mother Gloria, they handed this young, dirt poor black kid $420,000 per week, at the age of 18 to play basketball ?? and become the face of the $75 billion NBA! He married his high school sweetheart Savannah, was never arrested, never used drugs, and never humiliated his wife publicly with side chick stories. No outside babies. Never divorced.. Never in the news with so much as a parking ticket. Excellent father. Heavily involved with his 3 kid’s activities. Greatest player of all time! 20 years later. Same dude. Same maturity. Same chick. Same family. Reputation intact. A billionaire earning over $2 million per week. He has sent 2300+ at-risk kids from his hometown to college fully paid for.

If the Browns want to go big, why aren’t they proposing that the dome be part of a new airport, where they’d get all sorts of public financing? Their current position is silly, building a free standing dome in Brook Park with private money? Publically issued bonds that they’d be liable for? Not going to happen unless the Haslam’s guarantee the deal with their personal wealth. So how badly do they want this boondoggle? From “Just Say No,” when the Haslams come sniffing around to renew their current stadium lease, the answer should be no. A new lease, $50MM per year, triple net, meaning the Browns pay to operate and upkeep the stadium. I hope people can see that we don’t need to subsidize private enterprise, and I hope it is now apparent that the Browns have no negotiating position with the city. None. Where else are they going to play? Courtney Asolfi, “Brook Park Browns? Team Faces Five Hurdles,” Cleveland Plaintiffs Dealer, Oct. 19, 2024, at A-1, available at:

Have you ever seen what happens when team members (who work largely behind the scenes) are unexpectedly recognized? Ask the Kansas State University Marching Band. ?? ?? ?? As a former collegiate marching band member at Brigham Young University, I know firsthand that it's a ton of time and effort. Game days can extend to 8+ hours for band members when including pregame and postgame commitments. Long trips on the bus for away games can be straining - not to mention all the weekly practices and drills in the heat and cold. Even if you are fortunate enough to receive a partial scholarship as a band member, the pay per hour isn't good. Don't get me wrong - it's a lot of fun. Still, over time it's normal to start questioning if all your effort is making a difference or is even noticed by the football team and fans. In his post-game victory speech after his team's improbable comeback from a 34-17 deficit late in their recent bowl game, K-State head football coach Chris Klieman made sure to leave no doubt that their university's marching band members were noticed and appreciated. When seen and valued, the odds that team members will feel a strong sense of belonging increases by 559% (O.C. Tanner Institute 2024 Global Culture Report). Watch the band's reaction to Coach Klieman's comments and tell me they didn't feel a stronger sense of belonging! Who needs to hear your appreciation to feel connected and part of the team? #recognition #leadership #workplaceculture #appreciation
After Kansas State won its bowl game, head coach Chris Klieman paused his victory speech to shout out the school's marching band, which drove 20 hours to support the team in Arizona ??
