Congratulations to Episcopal Housing Corporation and Health Care for the Homeless (HCH Real Estate Company) on the positive momentum for the Sojourner Place at Park project! Southway is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such an impactful development. At Southway, our mission is to build and transform people, communities, and buildings with a purpose: to serve others and help them achieve their maximum potential. The Sojourner Place at Park project embodies this commitment perfectly. By providing 28 units of permanent supportive housing and 14 affordable units, we are not just constructing buildings; we are creating safe and nurturing environments where individuals can thrive. Looking forward to the mid-2025 groundbreaking! ?? Moseley Architects #Southway #BuiltWithIntegrity

Episcopal Housing Corporation is celebrating yesterday’s Baltimore Board of Estimates approval of the sale of 5 City owned properties to EHC and HCH Real Estate Co. for the Sojourner Place at Park project. The properties are at the intersection of W. Fayette Street, N. Liberty, and Park Avenues in Baltimore’s Five and Dine Historic District. This is a critical step moving Sojourner Place at Park towards a mid-2025 groundbreaking. The project will have 42 one-bedroom apartments and 800 square feet of retail space fronting the expanding Liberty Park, south of Fayette Street. Sojourner Place at Park will provide 28 units of permanent supportive housing for Baltimore residents exiting homelessness and 14 affordable units in a rapidly developing neighborhood. The Sojourner Place at Park sits at a transition point between the downtown business district and the revitalising west side, which includes the new Lexington market and the planned Compass project in the block immediately to our west. In addition to the City owned properties, the project will incorporate 111 Park Avenue where Health Care for the Homeless operated their main clinic for 20 years prior to moving to the Fallsway. We all know that housing is health care, so converting a former health clinic into housing for those exiting homelessness makes perfect sense.
