Division by zero gives an error value, but zero divided by any number gives zero. This is worth remembering when using Excel or any application involving calculations.

Functions can be quickly used to find the sum, average, count, maximum value, and minimum value for a range of cells. As Excel treat time values as decimal places you can't just add whole numbers to update hours or minutes, for example adding 1 to 6:00 AM won't add an hour, instead you would need to add 0.04167. To make this easier you can use the TIME function to add specific numbers for hours, minutes or seconds, without needing to know what the decimal equivalents are.
