In the last 4 months, our Instagram following grew from 10K to 110K, bringing in an extra $15K-$20K in monthly revenue—all organically, with no advertising. Our Head of Marketing, Candice Na, is now sharing the approach in a 4-week training called The Reel Thing. How do you create organic Instagram reels for a product that’s harder to make exciting? Let’s take a less glamorous product: Cleaning supplies or household items. It's easy to fall into the trap of just showing the product in a static shot, or worse, trying to create a "hard sell." But here’s where you can differentiate yourself: Don’t just sell a product, try to tell a story. For example: Instead of a basic demo, create a reel like "The battle against stubborn stains." Create a fun, high-energy skit where cleaning products "face off" with tough stains. Or create a quirky narrative of a cleaning product coming to the rescue when life gets messy, literally. The key takeaway? Don’t just feature the product, create narratives and moments your audience can relate to. When you connect the product to a real-life story or problem, you’re far more likely to spark engagement. #digitalmarketing #instagramreels #branding #contentstrategy

And you followed him again to get that “website link” in your DM. Coercive Marketing Tactics on Instagram Lately, I've noticed a disturbing trend on Instagram: the rise of coercive marketing tactics aimed at gaining followers or selling courses. Here’s what’s happening: 1. The Follow-for-Info Trap: - A person in a reel claims they’ll share a very important piece of information in your DMs, but only if you follow them and comment on the reel. This is coercion. I need the information, but I don’t want to follow them just to get it. 2. The Cheap Course Bait-and-Switch: - Courses are marketed as cheap as ?9, promising to teach everything in a 3-hour workshop. But during the workshop, they pitch a more extensive course for ?10,000. Initially, they claim you’ll learn everything in the short course, but then you’re told you need to pay much more for the full content. These tactics not only mislead people but also exploit their need for genuine information and education. Is this ethically right? Shouldn't we hold higher standards for transparency and honesty in marketing? I believe in straightforward, honest communication. If the content is valuable, people will engage without the need for coercive tactics. What are your thoughts on this? Have you encountered similar marketing strategies, and how do you feel about them? #MarketingEthics #CoerciveMarketing #InstagramMarketing #Transparency #HonestyInMarketing #DigitalMarketing #OnlineCourses

99% of new creators get stuck in the process of growing because they focus on the wrong things. Here is a 2 steps method: Make sure to save this video so you always remember it ?? Step 1: The Belief We want to start by saying that growing on Instagram inevitably will take time. Each piece of content you create is a new opportunity you have to learn what works and what doesn’t, and pivot your strategy from there. Mr. Beast, the most famous creator on the planet, said the same thing when he told us, “Your first video is not gonna get views. So stop sitting there and thinking for months and months on end and just get to work and start uploading.” Step 2: The Perfect Video Structure Once you understand this, it is time you start uploading by using a winning video structure. The same one that allowed us to get more than 32 million views on our videos. We call this the HSAC Framework: H → Hook that promises a solution S → Selling that solution by adding social proof A → Attention-retaining techniques to improve watch time C → Clear call to action that pushes people towards a desired action By combining these 2 steps together, you will be able to grow on Instagram and create a successful personal brand around your expertise. Hope this helps you on your journey! Now, if you’re serious about growing on social media, comment “START” ?? I will send you our FREE COURSE teaching you how to start a successful personal brand in 2024! #socialmediamarketing #shortformmarketing #growingonig #personalbrand #contentmarketing

You’ve got an amazing product/service but 99% of your audience don’t know you? How to fix it? All of my clients are very passionate about helping their clients get the results that they were hired for but not enough people know what they do Your problem is CONSISTENCY in MARKETING What I mean is that you aren’t showcasing your gift enough Here’s a great example: You watch youtube and you get an ad How many times do you see that friggen ad over and over and over again? Enough to know what that ad is about However, you assume that because you shared ‘this content’ before that people have seen it In case, they may or may not Back to youtube, they KNOW that you’ve seen it and yet they show it again I think you’ve figured out why by now Stop treating yourself like a small potato and start sharing your content more consistently Repeat it if you have to but just space the time out Want to know how to recycle your content in a super duper easy way? I’ve got just the thing for you! Comment ‘CONTENT’ and I’ll share it with you. I promise, that you’ll be blown away at to how easy it is

I did 2 different Instagram strategies in the past year. The first flopped, the second took off. In the first, I did what I thought the experts were doing. Content was regular, branded, value packed. But engagement was awful ?? In the second, I did a bootcamp led by an actual expert (huge thanks to Polina Nioly). Got a real peek under the hood & some real evidence-based strategy. Went viral several times, engagement is poppin ?? The bootcamp kicked my butt, but it’s nailed down 2 lessons I can’t shake. 1. The faster you can produce quality content, the faster you get data that informs you on what’s working (so you can do more of it). 2. Take algorithm preferences and themes seriously. Do research on the specific ones you’re working with. They’ve got likes and dislikes, and they’re easier to discover than you might think. Don’t wing it with what *feels* like it should work. Putting myself out there has felt way less scary - and felt much less high stakes. Testing stuff out & increasing your bandwidth to do so with running a business. Have you done any organic marketing on IG? What's your experience been? #marketingstrategy #instagramstrategy #organicmarketing

Two years ago, I used to post weekend marketing recaps. I'd feature highlights from some of the best LinkedIn content I'd read during the week. I stopped during a forced one-month break from social media. On returning, I couldn't keep up with work and slowly abandoned the recaps. Now, thanks to a nudge by Oluwaseun, I might be picking it up again. So, I'm throwing back to one of the recaps I posted 2023. It's good to see that the content and marketing insights are still relevant well over a year later. Curious to know if Mina, Tas, and Joe still remember sharing these insights. PS. Once saw a video that showed we're more likely to forget what we said online than we're to remember. Do you think this is true? #marketing

Yesterday, I hit 50K subscribers on one of my faceless youTube channels in Just 40 days. No secret sauce here, but let me walk you through how it happened. 40 days back, I quietly launched 4 YouTube channels and 4 Instagram pages—all faceless. I didn’t tell anyone except one, and that was intentional. ??Why? ~ Earlier, whenever I announced what I was working on, things didn’t always pan out as expected. ~ This time, I was experimenting and didn’t want external opinions to influence my process. Faceless content is booming right now, and I wanted to tap into that trend. Yesterday, people asked why I didn’t show my face for better branding. Well, I’m not consistent with putting myself out there. I’ve tried many times, but if I’m not 100% into something, I won’t do it half-heartedly. That’s just how I work. So, Let’s get back to the journey: ??I started with 4 channels and 4 Instagram pages. ??Stopped one channel in 10 days and another in 18 days because they didn’t show potential. ??Two channels started performing well, so I doubled down on them. ??One is still at 3K subscribers, and one hit 50K yesterday. On Instagram, both pages haven’t gained much traction, but I’m still posting because, I already have the content so why not? Here is what I learned: ? You don’t have to show your face to grow. If your goal is content value, focus on that. ? If personal branding is your goal, then showing your face can help—but only if you’re consistent. ? Experimentation is key. Not every project will work, and that’s okay. The winners make up for the rest. Pro Tip: Experiment Kro, consistent Raho and focus on both; quality and quantity. Channel reveal at 100K. ?? P.S. If you’ve been holding back because you think you need to be front and center in your videos—stop. Just start and experiment. Growth comes from action, not overthinking.
