So I've been a financial advisor for many years and I was speaking at an event. This girl walks up to me with her dad, she's maybe 2324 and she starts talking about how she's graduated. She has 125,000 student loan, she did a master's philosophy or something and she made 53,000. That was her starting salary. She wanted to buy a house with her fiance who she couldn't get married to because she couldn't afford it. She wouldn't have kids and she. Will defeated. And so I spent some time looking into student loans, and I discovered something. That I didn't like. 46,000,000 kids have student loans. 11% of those kids, almost 6 million of them are in default. It's a travesty. What are we doing to our kids that graduate? They get a starting salary of average worth 36,000 and they get a bill. Four $37,000 in student loans. That basically mortgages their lives. Because most kids still have to take out student loans, unfortunately, it's important that you focus on majors that help you make a little bit more money. But the problem is many kids go to school and they're not doctors or lawyers. They become philosophy majors. Psychology majors. On the other hand, if you didn't have to worry about student loans, go to work for a nonprofit, go achieve your dream. And that's really what we're trying to do with you. We're trying to help people irrespective of. Money. We're trying to give people choices. We're trying to help them fulfill their dreams.
