This weekend I had the pleasure of hosting an intimate private group workshop (a mini retreat) and it inspired something within me??. Storytime?????? I recently received a message from a woman one of my clients had introduced me to asking me to host a goals workshop for a close group of girlfriends. This group of women came from very different professional backgrounds: entrepreneurs, lawyers, marketers and full-time moms. And while we went into the evening with the overarching goal to discuss goals, what unfolded was much deeper?? You see, often when we think of goals, we think of the tactical things: ???12 month vision ??Action plans ??Habit trackers But we often miss the (incredibly important) energetic side of things??: ?What we're letting go of in order to get there ?Somatic healing of the stress, trauma, stories and limitations that have been holding us back ?The simple ways we can achieve the goals we want in our everyday ?The importance of sharing the journey with community ? Making the process to our goals FUN (what a concept, right?) And when we focused on the energetic side of things, what cracked open was BEYOND??. ?Years of pain melting away in a night ?Ease and excitement for what's to come ?Easy tools to make the journey to the goals more enjoyable ?Connection and support ?Release and restoration ?Hope and freedom I truly believe that in order start living our most abundant lives and healing (both individually and collectively), we start within ourselves and in our own communities. "Girls night" has always been a healing and fueling concept for women: we open up our homes to laugh, cry, share, uplift, support and just have a damn good time. And this approach takes that goodness to a whole new level ??? Here's to pouring into our communities, doing more of what fuels our energy, and filling our souls up ?? P.S.
