This is the world I-GENE Life Science Foundation dreams of, and it all began with an idea: the burning desire to illuminate the path of the next generation in life science. Last year, that idea materialised. Driven by a passion to bridge the gap between scientific discovery and youthful potential, I co-founded I-GENE Life Science Foundation . We aren't just another foundation; we are a movement, one with the sole purpose of changing the narratives of life science in the younger generation of Nigeria and the world at large. Because the hope for a brighter tomorrow isn't a distant dream; it's the harvest of the seeds we plant today. I-GENE, like a dedicated gardener, sows the seeds of knowledge, cultivates curiosity, and guides young scientists toward the sun. We believe that when we equip them with the right tools, the right questions, and the right spark – we empower them to take the right steps, not just for their success, but for the betterment of our world through career talks, interactive webinars, and vibrant science fairs, Like it's always said, "the journey of a thousand miles begin with a step" We've taken the first step, many more are yet to be taken.

Call for Proposals under WISE-SCOPE Fellowship Societal challenges refer to problems and issues that affect societies on a large scale, often spanning across multiple domain such as environment, technology, health, energy, waste, water, management, agriculture,?economic,?and more. The?Women In Science and Engineering (WISE)-Societal Challenges with Opportunities (SCOPE) Fellowship Program?of the Department of Science & Technology?(DST) aims to provide opportunity to Women Scientists and Technologists who have completed Ph.D. and want to utilize their S&T knowledge and expertise for the benefit of society. We are pleased to announce that one of our B.Tech 1st Year student, Rhea Ishani Chemudupati, has co-authored a paper with me and Dr. Debajyoti Bose on the topic "Innovative approaches for carbon capture and storage as crucial measures for emission reduction within industrial sectors" in the prestigious "Elsevier Journal Carbon Capture Science and Technology". The journal has an impact factor of 10.4. The engagement of Rhea Ishani Chemudupati, a first-year Technology student with a strong interest in multidisciplinary research, is what makes this study so amazing. This enables the integration of information from several fields and sectors, resulting in a more complete grasp of complicated real-world challenges. Such efforts can help to address important global concerns by combining the knowledge of multiple teams and contributing to technical innovations that improve human health, safety, well-being, and performance. A multidisciplinary approach encourages collaboration, promotes sustainable development goals, and allows academics to more effectively address difficult challenges.
