Society for Ecological Restoration (SER)的动态

SER Supports the Launch of the Target 2 Resource Guide. SER played a key role in developing a new resource guide released at COP16. The guide provides a roadmap for integrating ecosystem restoration into National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans, offering practical resources and emphasizing the importance of communication with stakeholders, including practitioners, implementers, and Indigenous Peoples. It builds upon initiatives like the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration FAO's Framework for Ecosystem Restoration Monitoring (FERM). SER collaborated with FAO and the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (SCBD) on the development and launch this new resource, "Delivering restoration outcomes for biodiversity and human well-being – Resource guide to Target 2 of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework." Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/dj9vvaVa We encourage everyone to explore the guide and join us in working toward the ambitious goals of Target 2. Photo from Left to right: George D.
