The rapid advancement in generative AI tools is posing new challenges like the rise of deepfakes and disinformation. Our team at Resaro is developing a suite of approaches and tools to ensure content integrity. Technologies such as deepfake detectors play a crucial role in the "trusted flagging" of harmful content. Transforming new technological approaches into pioneering products is the mission of the Focus Projects at D-MAVT. Over the course of a year, ten teams of students have developed prototypes that demonstrate the state of the art in additive manufacturing, robotics, and propulsion and transportation technologies. The teams work independently throughout the entire process, from project ideation and design studies to sponsorship and production. On 28 May the students will present their projects to the public. The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) has received the L12E from OceanAlpha, a USV with a 400kg payload capacity and endurance of 4.5 hours. ?? The recipient of the unmanned surface vehicle, dubbed “The Clear Water Bay”, is Cheng Kar-Shun Robotics Institute (CKSRI) at HKUST. ??The USV will support the Institute’s innovative technology research and development efforts, enabling secondary development activities and expanding the horizons of scientific exploration at HKUST. ??
