In March, the consortium kicked off the #SMARTDEC project on #MaritimeDecarbonisation ?? Why should you follow us and get involved in the project ? ??Our aims :? - To accelerate and coordinate the adoption of emissions-reduction technologies by the maritime transport sector in the Atlantic Area - To create and develop an Atlantic network providing the tools, knowledge and structure needed to rapidly meet the challenge of reducing maritime transport emissions ??Our actions :? - Mapping of regional key stakeholders and priorities of maritime transport decarbonisation - Characterising existing decarbonisation initiatives - Implementing an Atlantic network for maritime transport decarbonisation using an interactive plateform? - Identifying pilot technologies to be supported as part of the project ? ?? Led by P?le Mer Bretagne Atlantique (FR), #SMARTDEC is a joint initiative of key actors across the Atlantic Area: Universidade de Aveiro (PT), Atlanpole (FR), Marine Institute (IR), CONFERENCE DES REGIONS PERIPHERIQUES MARITIMES D'EUROPE (FR), Clúster Marítimo-Marino de Andalucía (CMMA) (ES), Fórum Oceano (PT) and Bilbao PortLab (ES). ??
