I recently interviewed at Tech Mahindra, answered all questions well to my knowledge. When you have worked for 10 years in people management role, you can read people. Hiring manager was showing tantrums from the beginning, as if he was the most occupied person in the org.\ He asked me this question: What would your first challenge be if you are selected for this role. I answered, My people managment skill is strong. I would very much like to spend time with SME's who understand the product. Because, unless one knows, what they are selling they can't build rapport with the customers, who are buying. He replied, well, we are looking for people who don't spend time in learning the products at all. We are looking for non-tech people so they can focus on people/team more. so, I guess its my fault that I know tech (I learned programming, flutterflow, websites development in my free time.). My fault, that I am interested in the company's product. What's the key to shut off brain's part which wants to learn? #techmahindra may be good, can't say the same for its employees. #YogeshParmar05
