When we designed our ACE Music Journey, we envisioned more than just a field trip—we created an immersive educational experience that bridges music theory, cultural understanding, and personal growth. ?? We guided students from Options For Youth Public Charter Schools through Southern California's iconic musical landmarks, from Indigenous drum circles in Joshua Tree to recording sessions at the historic VIP Records in Long Beach. Students developed technical skills at the GRAMMY Museum's Science of Sound Workshop, discovering music's power to build community and foster self-expression.
