Thanks Ellie for this useful blog. We frequently get queries about writing a Will for someone because they have power of attorney for that person, are related to that person or otherwise. Useful to note that only the court can make these important decisions and a power of attorney does not grant you that authority- and nor should it.
What to do when a loved one loses mental capacity and doesn’t have a Will. We understand that dealing a loved one's mental capacity decline is difficult in general. That's why our experts at Avery Walters have written a blog to help you if your loved one does not have a Will and one is required. You're not alone. We're here to help ? Talking to your teen about suicide can be one of the toughest conversations a parent ever has. You don’t have to wait until your teen is at risk for suicide to bring the subject up. You can ask your teen to share their thoughts, listening carefully and validating how your teen feels about the topic. Ask thoughtful questions, and try to accept what they have to say, even if it’s uncomfortable. If your teen is worried about themselves or their friends, you can seek help to support them. Consider connecting to a therapist to help you both continue the conversation https://lnkd.in/gbSPC2xq q
