Finding good people isn't the main challenge when hiring. It's engaging them. Exciting them with your story, and being clear on what's on offer for them. If you can't explain why someone in a good job would see this as a great move, you'll struggle to get traction with passive talent. As someone that has been in the recruiting game for 20+ years, this is the ONE hill I'm willing to die on. Proactive-high-impact-recruiting happens when you have a future outlook. What does this mean? It's not about what talent you need today. Proactive means thinking 6-12 months out. My trademark statement is helping companies do this ?? "To Grow Your Profits by 50%." I'm passionate about helping companies save money, but more importantly make it. I'm in business to help people and make money. Recruiting is a process involving posting positions, guiding top talent through interviews, offers, onboarding, etc. I'm here for it. Recruiting only for today's need is shortsighted. The future is building teams of A-Players. This requires a plan and execution that needs to happen today. This is the future. What are you doing about it now?
