As my internship at PUG.ai concludes, I am filled with gratitude and excitement for the wealth of knowledge and experience I have gained in AI career management software. During my time as a Business Development Intern, I had the privilege of contributing to the development of new AI avatars for learning modules. These avatars are part of an innovative approach to personalize and enhance the learning experience for users engaging with career development tools. I was deeply involved in researching and producing new learning modules, which are now integral to several career development platforms. This process has allowed me to explore the specific needs of professional development through AI. A significant part of my role involved assisting in the launch of these career development platforms. Seeing a product transition from concept to market-ready was an invaluable experience that taught me the complexity of product development and deployment in the tech industry. Additionally, I enhanced my technical skills by learning UI strategies and working on backend optimizations of websites to improve user experience. This included integrating low-code software solutions to make our platforms more accessible and efficient. I am immensely thankful for the mentorship from Samerial Johns who guided me through these projects. She has taught me how adaptable and resilient a start-up must be to be successful in dynamic industries like tech. I am grateful to the Lehigh@NasdaqCenter Silicon Valley Innovation Internship Program for connecting me to this wonderful company as well as the guidance of Sarah Leedberg, Dr. Samantha Dewalt, and Dr. Willy Das throughout this semester. As I move forward, I am eager to apply and expand upon the skills and insights I have acquired, particularly at the intersection of AI and career development.
