'It was always going to be a journey of discovery. The initial stages of this job were to get inside the bridge and understand the extent of the repairs required. 'The designers of the structural work get a broad view during their investigations, but that is done on a sample basis and we only really get the true picture once we get into the structure. 'And it varies. There are sections which aren’t in bad condition. But there are others where standing water has led to a lot of corrosion. 'While more than 139,000 litres of paint will be used – enough to fill 850 beer barrels – there are also more than 1000 repairs to be undertaken. 'The list is huge; it’s far more than ‘just a lick of paint’.' Most of the problems and solutions viz-a-viz failures including not optimally successes of/in any organization are mainly caused, because of the senior management personnel's team contents, intents and their wisdom & experiences only. None other can even dare to go against the wishes and whims of these top management perssonel narratives and directions set for them and have to un/willingly aligned to such persons unethical and unprofessional directives for their survival and undue rewards

As part of Stage 2 of the Mooloolaba Foreshore Revitalisation project, we’ve been proud to work closely with Sunshine Coast Council and the Mooloolaba business community over the last 12 months to develop a strategic Business Activation Plan for its town centre. Part resilience planning, part placemaking, part capacity building, our plan is designed to support and guide the Mooloolaba business community and town centre, through a period of upcoming major renewal of its beachfront. The foreshore revitalisation project itself will realise the creation of a vibrant new beachfront park, a host of new community amenities, better beach accessibility and the replacement of the existing ageing seawall. In a big next step, our plan has just been endorsed by Council, before construction of this incredible project commences, that will put Mooloolaba on the map as one of Australia’s leading beach tourism?destinations, just before the 2032 Olympic Games. #placeplanning #resillianceplanning #placemaking #mooloolaba
