NordVPN is IPO Ready Lithuanian cybersecurity giant, Nord Security, known primarily for its NordVPN service, has made massive strides in the industry, positioning itself for a potential IPO. Despite only raising its first external investment in 2022—the company quickly reached unicorn status with a $3 billion valuation after its second funding round. What many don’t know, is that Nord Security’s journey began modestly, bootstrapping for over a decade and building its reputation through customer funding. The company has since expanded beyond VPN services to offer a full suite of cybersecurity products, including encrypted cloud infrastructure, dark web monitoring, and cyber threat insurance. Their growth has been driven by strong B2C sales, particularly in the U.S., which accounts for nearly half of their revenue.
