So when did you know you wanted to follow in that footpath? You know, I really I didn't right away. I had three older brothers who got none of them were interested in in the business. My parents never. You know, really encouraged us necessarily that we just kind of knew that opportunity was there. I got engaged in the late 80s and I was working as an exercise physiologist. That was my major setting people up on exercise programs and liked it, but I wasn't making much money. I'm like, I got to make some, some money here if I want to get married. And so I gave it a shot, you know, so in 1990. So let me try the business and see if I like it and if I do, great. If not, I'll know and I'll, I'll move on from there. But. Turns out I did enjoy the business. I, I didn't know right away, you know, they put me on a desk and said start making phone calls and start making placements. And, you know, so I, I just kind of dug in and started doing it. We had some personnel changes kind of the early 90s that provided me the opportunity to Start learning more about other aspects of the business. So I got involved in the sales and, you know, some of the operations. It's interesting. My mom was the one that was the salesperson. She was out there. She was. Going to the meeting, she was networking. My dad was more kind of behind the scenes doing the books and everything like that. So after about five years, I did hit a point where like I'm not sure if this is for me and stepped away from the business for a brief period of time. But quickly realized that the things I didn't necessarily like about the business I was going to experience in any in any business. I knew I wanted my own business. I mean, it was kind of had that entrepreneurial spirit. So taking that. Step back away was helpful for me to be able to then reflect and say, well, those issues are gonna happen no matter what type of business I met. Why did you think it wasn't for you at that time? Again, I, I was, I think it was more, it's like everything, a lot of people issues, right. I'm thinking, I don't know if I like, I'm not an OPS guy. I'm like, what have you with all these things? I don't wanna deal with all these things, but I was still young. I I, you know, yeah, I didn't know. Yeah, yeah. No, nobody sets out to go into the staffing recruiting world, right? You don't go to school for that. You kind of fall into it really. So again, it wasn't necessarily a plant, but again, I realized I, I had a better view of business I think at that point and all the things that go into business. You know, I, I just embraced that a little bit more and then came back into the business. And then my mom retired kind of late 90s. My dad was still on, but wanted to kind of shift away from the business. So I became president. I think it was 1998 is when I became president of, of we're still Dunhill at the time, but it was just a kind of a dying franchise. A lot of franchisees were leaving left and right. I had a good relationship with the president of Dunhill and I said. You know, we're gonna, we're gonna leave. Let's just, rather than drag it out in the courts and things like that that everybody else was doing, let's just come up with a, a figure we think is fair and, and go our separate ways. We were able to do that. And then it was 2000 when we became Emerson Group.
