Breaking News: TCPA Update The courts have just announced a major update: the 1-1 rule has been postponed for a year . As a proud board member of this organization, I'm thrilled to share that the FCC has delayed the effective date of both the "1:1" and "logically and topically associated" rules until 2026. This postponement is a direct result of the ongoing legal challenge by the IMC to the rules, which gave the FCC the authority to delay the effective date, as per Section 705 of the APA. This section allows for the postponement of a regulation when there's a pending lawsuit challenging it. A huge shoutout to the IMC, its board, supporters, and attorneys at Covington & Burlington, for their tireless efforts in achieving this outcome. Your hard work has paid off!
