The fourth case study in our spotlight series highlights Oklahoma’s long-standing emergency response system. The Regional Medical Response System/Healthcare Coalition is informed by previous disaster response, exhaustive training, and fostered relationships with emergency partner networks and health care. The RMRS/HCC successfully coordinates across hospitals, state partners, and local health departments to share resources, data, and staff, enhancing preparedness for health crises and natural disasters alike.
