Do you think there is no room for improvement in the warehouse? See side by side of the same process in the same warehouse but 4 years apart.
These seconds add up in fulfillment. This level up of processing is so impressive and drives real-time impact/savings to the bottom line Love the idea for this video!
We don’t currently have, but likely are soon investing in tose machines. Spitballing if tape length can somehow be pre-programmed with a specific box size when label is generated to avoid having to click the tape button?
That is what solid CI looks like. Well done sir.
This is a great comparison. It might take a little more work up front to get accurate weights and dimensions when receiving, but the downstream benefits add up quick. Giving a packer both hands, while removing the pressure of accidentally choosing the wrong box or shipping method allows a packer to get into that all important flow.
Nice improvements. I have a few questions: Why scan all the articles? If it's keyboard free, do you have a touchscreen? How do you handle a process error? Also, where do you dispatch your order? I like the concept of plastic totes to bring the products to the station, not sure why it's on the back of the worker at the station and not on the side of the table to avoid turning around all the time. Does the shelf has wheels? Can you move it around? Overall, these are significative changes! It's really nice to see such processes transparently!
We have come a long way!
The evolution of the process and the station is remarkable ??????
