I've had such a busy week celebrating IWD 2025 that I haven't managed to post anything (and did it really happen if it's not on LinkedIn?!) ?? ?? She Who UK put on a fantastic event at the Marriott which featured an insightful panel discussion with Beren Kayali, Andries Pretorius, Sophie Mason and Asel Sartbaeva, presented by Gabriella Francesca Jukes. Each of the speakers' stories were so inspirational and show that no matter where we come from, we are all aiming for the same goal of parity and inclusion. The event also fundraised for and showcased the vital work done by Vale Domestic Abuse Services ?? #Superwoman hosted an IWD 2025 lunch at the Classroom. In addition to a wonderful meal cooked by the students, we heard from Helen Molyneux about how her journey has led her to Monumental Welsh Women. Helen also spoke about the next monumental Welsh woman to be immortalised as a statue, Elizabeth Andrews, and her motto of "Educate, Agitate, Organise". We should definitely all be more Elizabeth! I'm lucky to be around inspirational women all the time, both professionally and personally.
