Your body has a biological airbag installed. It’s better known by the name: startle-flinch. When trained properly it serves the same purpose of an airbag… the protect YOU?? And just like airbags save lives in car crashes, your body’s survival reflex—your startle-flinch—can save your life in a violent encounter. This survival reflex happens regardless of your martial art system, self-defense ideas, or tactical philosophy. This is purse neurobiology.
