1 year ago, I was very different from who I am today, and I'm proud of the change. For years, I resisted the idea that self-care is important, often telling myself: → I've managed so far without it. → It's not a priority for me right now. → I really don't have time for all that. → I’ll chill out when I finish this project. Deep down, I knew I wasn't invincible. So here are my self-care non-negotiables: - Extra sleep - 1 hour of walking - Cold shower - Weekly body and skin care routine - Tech break: no screen time for 2 hours before sleep - Slow down without guilt - Laugh and enjoy family time - Get organized and plan the week. But what works for me might be different for you. So, what's your non-negotiable for today? ?? Found this helpful? Repost and help your network." Looking very pretty
Great share Shalini Mishra Dii! The point of prioritizing ONESELF is an important factor that each one of us should take into consideration because most of us, rather almost all of us are busy packed up during their schedule times, not even bothering about wasting a lot more time to spend with themselves. I feel spending Quality time with your family and yourself is a great treat to one's eye, those chit-chat sessions with mum and dad knowing their experiences during their childhood days, and they telling us about how they used to play outdoor games, all this just filles me up with immense pleasure :) P. S: Always put your family and work on top priority because they're the ones who stand by us through thick and thin, offering emotional support and love, and shared experiences that enrich our lives ??

Taking time to recharge, reflect, and engage in activities that nourish the mind, body, and soul isn't just a luxury—it's a necessity for maintaining balance and resilience in the face of life's challenges Shalini Mishra. Self-care looks different for everyone, whether it's practicing mindfulness and meditation, indulging in hobbies, spending time with loved ones, or simply taking a moment to breathe and reset.
Shalini Mishra Great journey of the new one which will be proud of you if meet your old version and we should try to ask one question that what we will tell our old version after 1 year if we don't take necessary risk now to become best version after 1 year. P:S- My non negotiable is health which I will never compromise in any ways even if I have to forgo some clients because they can come again but once health is gone it's never will be coming again.??
I'm going to that part slowly slowly

7 个月Spot on points?? Shalini Mishra And apart from that I would like to add some few more points on self care non-negotiables Establish Boundaries: Set limits on your time and energy to prevent burnout and maintain balance in your life. Nurture Relationships: Invest in meaningful connections with friends, family, and loved ones to support your emotional health. Seek Support: Most of the people have this notion that therapy is shit and this thing doesn’t work and all and most people don’t believe on this whole mental health thing so don’t hesitate to reach out to a therapist, counselor, or support group if you're struggling with your mental health. Limit Screen Time: Take breaks from screens to reduce eye strain and mental fatigue. Instead, spend time outdoors or engage in offline activities. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to support bodily functions and maintain overall health.
