With shifting workplace policies affecting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, I can't help but be concerned that sweeping changes could overshadow the tremendous benefits these initiatives have brought to many—including myself. I believe the better path is to refine and improve our efforts rather than discard them entirely. Inclusive work environments aren’t just good for morale—they foster innovation, diverse perspectives, and stronger team dynamics. They're good for business. I encourage everyone—leaders, colleagues, and peers—to keep this conversation open and seek balanced solutions that help every individual feel valued and able to contribute. Let’s build on what works and continuously improve what needs fixing, ensuring our workplaces remain supportive, collaborative, and equitable for all. My thoughts are with everyone feeling the immediate effects of these decisions.
