Ingredients ? 1 Tbsp butter or extra virgin olive oil ? 1 large onion, chopped ? 1 tsp dried thyme ? ? tsp sea salt ? ? tsp freshly ground black pepper ? 200 g brown lentils ? 1.5 L low sodium chicken or vegetable stock Directions ? ????It went viral and I had to try it The flowerless bread that everybody is talking about isn’t low in carbs at all (lentils are high in carbs and fibers) but is gluten and grain-free It can be used as a bread substitute but also as a base for a sweet treat, is delicious with some nuts butter fresh fruits gem To be honest was pretty easy to make, and Santiago liked it too, so it was definitely toddler-approved ??500gr red lentils ??90ml lukewarm water ??16gr instant yeast ??1 tsp salt ??40ml EVOO ??mix of seeds to garnish The night before I left the lentils overnight in a bowl covered with cold water The following day I rinse them and dry them very well and add them to a food processor along with all the other ingredients When it got a dense but smooth and well-incorporated mixture I poured it into a bread baking pan sheet that I covered in parchment paper Let it rise for about 30 minutes then bake at 180* for 45minutes I swear I was in shock seeing the results Super approved! . . . #weightloss #federicatorres #helthyrecipesforbusymoms #healthyrecipes #healthyfood
