June is done and dusted, and I wanted to share what’s been going well with Fibbler, but also what turned out badly… Trying this building-in-public thing. What went well? - We finally launched our automatic LinkedIn Ads -> HubSpot sync. - MRR 5xed in June. Both because of our new sync but also the end of our first 30-day trial ?? - Still no churn since launching in April. - We seem to have found our optimal paid-to-free conversion rate by using a 30-day free trial. What went bad? - The Salesforce integration has proven to be harder than we thought to develop… but we're almost there. - We had to completely rethink our agency packaging. Agencies want to be able to swiftly switch between their clients. - We underestimated the amount of technical documentation and data security reassurances bigger companies need. Having such a blast with this. Bootstrapping. Growing steadily. Building all features from user feedback. #buildinginpublic #saas

"Go With The Flow" - this was a big takeaway for me from my older son's Pre-K orientation the other night. I was thrilled to hear his teachers talk about the value of learning to go with the flow at a young age. Hands waving in the air, smiles on faces... e.g. want to go outside for recess but it's raining?.... "WE GO WITH THE FLOW!".... So now it's my turn... with mixed emotions I have to take a deep breathe and remind myself to go with the flow over the next few weeks. I won't be able to attend #Dreamforce in person as I prioritize my health right now... gotta go with the flow ??
