Hadoop- A Brief......

In my previous post i have published about BigData, but the technology BigData is just like a discharged mobile if Hadoop doesn't come into play.

In this post i am going to give a brief idea about Hadoop, which is like a cell for BigData. 
First of all let us know what Hadoop is? - Hadoop is a framework which stores data and process it in a distributed processing environment or clusters of computers/processors.

Hadoop has two main components:
(i) HDFS: It stands for Hadoop Distributed File System which is basically used to store data sets for future processiong.
(ii) MapReduce: It splits task across the processors for further processing of data.

Let me give an example for this:
When an aeroplane flies in the sky, it continuously transmits signal. Those transmitted signal is tracked by nearest Air Traffic Control Station. The station stores those signal(here HDFS is used) and sends for further processing(here MapReduce is used).
The above example is for one aeroplane, now we can guess that there are many flights which crosses by numerous Air Traffic Control Station, storing the signals for all the flights and processing them is very hectic task. Thus to perform this task BigData comes into play, which further includes Hadoop.
