We are proud to join the province of Ontario in announcing a new mental health program for the province's public safety organizations, public safety personnel and their families. Titled?Warrior Health, this new program combines over 300 years of expertise through a first of its kind consortium partnership that includes?Wounded Warriors Canada , Homewood Health, CAMH, Trillium Health Partners, and Boots on the Ground. This program has been made possible due to Ontario’s $32 million investment to help ensure those who keep our province safe receive the culturally specific and trauma-informed care they need and deserve: https://lnkd.in/gdwcsA9R Mark Baxter Michael S. An investment in trauma informed practice saves lves,
Congratulations, Scott and the entire team at Wounded Warriors Canada! This initiative will make a huge contribution to the health and safety of public safety personnel across Ontario.
Great news!
Congratulations- very much looking forward to see what this $32m will actually look like in real support.
Congratulations!
Be very careful with this group! They are all lip service! They still continue to push staff to health reassignment based on the diagnosis not symptoms! Using @WSIB to deny professional dedicated staff any chance of remaining in the Ministry! They insult belittle staff for no reason! 30 years I expect to be treated with respect I earned it! Not lies and an uncaring employer who denied injured workers access to the peer support program for years! They cause the stigma!
This is great news and the reason Wounded Warriors Canada is our principal charity that we support as military veterans — providing real value and impact to the warrior community.
Such an important investment. Congratulations Scott and all involved!
