Today, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation published the #GlobalCommitment24 progress report in collaboration with the UN Environment Programme. We know there is still more work to do, but we are making progress toward our commitments, including meeting our goals for post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR) use and reducing virgin plastic a year ahead of schedule. * We surpassed our goal of using 25% PCR materials in our products—a fourfold increase since 2018. In 2024 alone we used over 17,000 metric tons of PCR materials. * We've reduced our total plastic footprint by 32% since 2018 by using more PCR content, cutting unnecessary plastics, and making packaging lighter * Core to our efforts is encouraging consumers to reuse packaging through refills. Overall, 12% of our plastic packaging is reused. A number of our leading brands provide consumers the opportunity to refill at home using bulk refills, concentrated refills, and dissolvables, and the number of in-store refill machines across Europe has grown to over 730! While we're committed to keeping plastic in the #circulareconomy and out of the environment, we can't do it alone.
