National Apprenticeship Week is quickly approaching. https://lnkd.in/e4-6RDhH IREC and our partners in the Apprenticeships in Clean Energy (ACE) Network are planning several events, but with this post, I'm just going to encourage any in my network who have Apprenticeship programs at their companies to use this event to share your successes too. Are you already planning to hold an event or publish a blog, newsletter, or article during NAW? If so, let us know so we can amplify - and make sure it is posted to the NAW site so others can hear about it. We'd love to hear about your apprentices and how their training is advancing their careers, and changing their lives. If you're not currently using Apprenticeships to grow your workforce and develop your talent, I encourage you to get your company to commit during this week to making it happen in 2025. The ACE Network is here to help with free technical assistance, and limited financial incentives are also available. Sign a Proclamation (template available on the NAW site), and let us know that you are ready to move forward with starting or joining a program.

When Abby showed me this idea she had for an Apprentice Journey framework months ago, I was elated! In fact I think the first thing I asked was, "When will it be finished? I want to use it for all my projects today!" Having a tangible idea of what apprentices experience from awareness to completion throughout the apprentice journey is so important when creating equitable and inclusive pathways for learning and work. Our experts will be using this framework in our research and technical assistance offerings allowing us to center our work on the people most impacted by the apprenticeship ecosystem. #apprentice #workbasedlearning #careerpathways
