It laid the foundations for our current work to develop standards for involving formers in PCVE. Further information on our work to develop standards in this area can be found here: https://lnkd.in/dfwaQwaY I hope this research can provide added value for continuing and improving the important and challenging work that many Formers are doing to help prevent violence. UPDATE: in case you missed it we have also just published our research on Standards for Employing Formers in PCVE: https://lnkd.in/eWyVS4ym
Do qe need to order or how we can get
?????? Finally, the book is out. I am so very pleased. Thanks, Gordon, Ryan and Didarul. It has been such a pleasure to work with you and to be part af the workshop in New York. In addition to being part of a book that communicates just how important it is for exit programs to have 'formers' on board.
Do I get a hard copy lol
Congratulations Gordon and colleagues!
This looks great. Thank you for sharing such a brilliant resource. I look forward to reading it.
This book seems very intriguing and insightful, congratulations! There is growing trend of the formers who are rejoining the ranks and files of extremist organisations in Afghanistan and Pakistan. This new spate deserves a thorough study based on empirical evidences.
This looks very interesting. The first major study based on the stories of Formers I came across was UNDP's "Journey to Extremism in Africa". It evoked a few methodological questions among PCVE researchers and practitioners. I am curious to see how this book approaches those questions.
So happy to see this book! It was a pleasure contributing to it!
