Citizens in Edgefield, Laurens, and Union Counties are now eligible to apply for assistance from FEMA. The quickest way to apply is to go online to DisasterAssistance.gov. You can also apply using the FEMA App for mobile devices or calling toll-free 800-621-3362. If you have insurance, you should immediately file a claim. FEMA assistance cannot help with losses already covered by insurance.
