What started as a "let’s see what happens" pandemic hobby has somehow turned into a thriving business (and no one is more surprised than me!). When I started my business in October 2020, my mission was simple: learn how to build a brand and market myself effectively. So I did what any sane person would do—I threw myself into training, with experts like?Kirsty James?and?Altrincham HQ's very own Alex imparting their knowledge and guidance. Then came my CIM in Digital Marketing Foundations – all while homeschooling, working, and building a business. Life was a doddle! ?? While it was a juggling act, it reignited a spark I thought I'd lost. Fast-forward another year, and a former colleague, Rebecca, floated the idea of offering back-office support for businesses—and just like that, the VA side of Perfect Order was born. Little did I know it would flipping take off! Clients came, they stayed, a few left (and came back!), and suddenly, I thought, “Okay, this might have legs!” With a mentor by my side?(thank you,?Sue)?and many communities to learn from, I soaked up every bit of knowledge I could. Developing your business can be difficult to get your arms around. There are things to learn, other things to implement... and, in the middle of it all, a LOT of emotional content. Fear. Grief.
