Calling all bar exam takers! Conquer the MBEs with this tip ?? If you're struggling with the MBE portion of the bar exam, I get it. I took the bar 3 times, twice for California (failing the first time) and then for the UBE in Wyoming. My #1 tip for mastering those MBEs is to start AND end your study day with 25 untimed practice questions. Do them straight through without checking your answers. When you're done, review each question to see which you got right/wrong. The key is to identify the rule being tested and the pattern used. MBEs are all about repetition. ???? Once you've done that first round, repeat this at the end of your study day. The more MBEs you see, the more comfortable you'll become with the format and spotting patterns. This strategy helped me so much and towards the end of bar studying, I actually enjoyed doing MBEs - as crazy as that sounds!
